Event: Litter pick at Jane’s Shore on 4th June

Date: 17 May 2023

Jane’s Shore is one of the most picturesque walking routes along the River Quoile in Downpatrick and the work to enhance the pathway here will help attract more visitors to the area.

Unfortunately with more traffic, comes more litter. And while most of us take our litter home or use the bins provided, there are a few people who simply don’t care where they throw it.

And that attitude spoils the beauty of the Quoile and our enjoyment of it.

Join us on 4th June 2023 for a litter pick!

We’re arranging a community litter pick on Sunday 4th June between 10:00am – 12:00 noon to help clean up the Jane Shore path. Many hands make light work!

You’ll enjoy a lovely stroll along our beautiful River Quoile with great conversation from like-minded people.

And by the end of it, we’ll have put the world to rights with a few a new friends and given old Jane a healthier glow!
